Belmont—–James Andrew Champion, 44, of 7 Cherry Street, died Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia. James was born May 11, 1969 in Laconia the son of Mary (Rollins) and Andrew T. Champion, Jr. He had lived in Eaton Rapids, Michigan for fifteen years before moving to Laconia. For the past seven years, he lived in Belmont. James enjoyed comic books and spending time with family and friends. James is survived by his mother, Mary Champion; four stepdaughters, Krystle, Jessica, Tiffany and Katelyn; two brothers, John Champion, Michael Champion, three sisters, Lori Champion, Joyce Lewandowski and Priscilla Dodge, seven nephews and seven nieces; best friend, Jodi Murray, and his extended family, Desiree Roberts, Niki Green, Travis Green, Dominique Simpson and his former wife, Sandra Champion. In addition to his father he is predeceased by two sisters, Linda Beaupre and Susan Champion. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 1:00-2:30PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. A Memorial Service will follow the calling hours at 2:30 PM also at the Funeral Home. Spring burial will be at Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, N.H.
